She has the same story as almost every dog from Romania: abandon. Ela is a German Shepard mix which we saved from the streets in a very serious condition: in a few hours, the Pyometra which she was suffering of would have killed her. She learn to take care of herself, finding food, avoid danger or finding safe sleeping spots. The disease was very strong. From the moment Ela healed, in June 2009, she refused to leave us. She has adapted to the apartment life style, having fixed eating or walking hours.
Ela is around three years old, sterilized. She is getting along very well with other animals, dogs or cats, and she is facing a huge challenge: finding a lovely family, only for her. Please help her to accomplish this objective.
